NCRA wins junior Victor Ludorum at Leicester regatta

NCRA wins in four events.

Starting the day off strong, the team secured an easy win in the semi-final of the WJ14 2x. This solid performance set the tone for the rest of the competition. The victory showcased both skill and determination, as wel as highlighting their solid teamwork and preparation

Continuing the wave of success, Lyla rowed an incredible race, against a sculler from Burton Leander. She managed to take away with the Gold medal in the WJ18 1x

In a close race between Martha and a Nottingham & Union competitor in the WJ15 1x, the tension was palpable from start to finish. Both rowers pushed themselves to the limit, each maintaining a fierce pace through the entire race. As they neared the final stretch, the competition intensified, with each athlete striving to outlast the other, but in the end Martha managed to just come out on top.

Under clear skies and amid a lively riverside crowd, NCRA delivered a commanding performance, pulling ahead early and never looking back. Due to an impressive start, the double had complete control from the start — their strokes smooth, powerful, and perfectly in sync. While the opposing team gave chase on the opposite side of the river, we still powered ahead, winning the final of the WJ14 2x

Well done to everyone who raced today at Leicester regatta, amazing performances all around.

GO COUNTY! 💚💛
