Hampton Small Boats Head 2025

*Hampton Head 2025 – race report*

Thanks to Martha for the following report from today’s racing – two fabulous wins and some equally good squad performances:-

Conditions were varying, making result comparison very difficult as the tailwind picked up in div2 then dropped again.

WJ16 2x – Martha and Elise raced in div1 setting off first in the event. They ended up 1st in division 1 but after the div2 boats raced, they ended up in 5th place out of 38 with a time of 10:53 and a GMT of 90.43%. They were 14 seconds behind 1st place who raced in div2.
Ellie and Evie finished 4th in div1 and 10th overall with a time of 11:17 and GMT 87.22%. They had a great run especially in such wet conditions.

WJ16 1x – Hannah, racing in div1, finished 3rd overall after having a good row. She had a time of 11:48 and GMT of 89.94% only 9 seconds behind the winner.

WJ17 1x – Ava came 5th overall after coming 2nd racing in div1 with a time of 11:50 and GMT of 89.78%.

WJ18 1x – Ava also raced in div2 where she beat her previous time by 14 seconds with a time of 11:36 and GMT of 91.51%. She came in at a close 4th overall.

WJ16 4x – Martha, Evie, Ellie and Hannah competed in div2 together and came 1st overall. They ended with a time of 9:46 and GMT of 93.61%

WJ15 1x – Elise raced in div2 after her Brit Champs rival in div1. Despite being one of the last events of the entire day and the wind had already began to drop, she finished 1st in her event with a time of 11:16 and GMT of 94.29%.
Elise had our top GMT of the county crew!

Thank you to coaches, parents and supporters and especially to Paul for trailer driving
