A good day on the water on Sunday, with three club wins over the 5k Chester course; Katie J17 and Elise J15 in their singles and Martha & Elise in the J16 2x.
The J16 2x’s time was only 20” behind the J18 winners and placed them second fastest junior women’s double, in addition, Hannah & Ellie gained 3rd place in the J16 2x.
In winning WJ17 by 30” over Anja from Notts & Union, Katie was the fastest sculler from all the Shrewsbury Schools entries, and she was only 15′ behind the J18 winner, placing third Junior women overall.
Elise’s J15 time would also have won J16, 2nd in J17, 4th in J18 and 5th fastest junior overall.

Well done to all our scullers and a huge thanks to Paul and Martin for coaching and towing, and to our supporters. We now look forward to the Scullers Head this weekend.
